| The Velveteen Lop is a medium small rabbit with very long lopped ears. It has soft, velvet feeling rex fur. The velveteen lop comes from 14 generations of breeding an English Lop to a Mini Rex. After 14 generations they are considered a velveteen lop. They have a nice temperament, enjoying human company. Though they are larger then the Holland Lop they are easy for smaller children to handle due to their very sweet dispositions. Adult Velveteen Lops are 5 - 6 1/2 pounds. With the combination of the soft velvety mini rex fur and the great dispositions of the English lop and Mini rex, this bunny makes an excellent pet.
